As the premier voice for America's Soldiers, we are a dedicated team committed to building the best professional and representative association for the world's best Army.
AUSA speaks out for the men and women of the United States Army who proudly serve our country. AUSA's Directorate of Government Affairs coordinates AUSA’s activities related to the U.S. Congress and the Executive Branch. The Directorate helps maximize the Association’s and members’ participation in the legislative process. We advocate for the Army, soldiers (past, present and future) and their families. Additionally, the Directorate monitors congressional activity and reports to our members to ensure they are well-informed and prepared to be active in the legislative process. See AUSA's Legislative Agenda here.
AUSA has 120 chapters located worldwide. Made up entirely of volunteers, they provide recreational and educational opportunities to Soldiers and their families. AUSA and its' chapters have contributed over $2,000,000 to awards, scholarships, and support of soldier and family programs. Their mission is to support our Soldiers and the civilians and families who work alongside of them in the local community.
AUSA is your professional association. As an Army professional, you need to keep current on issues that affect you in the work place. AUSA offers you the opportunities to accomplish this at its Annual Meeting, ILW Breakfasts, Hot topics and the Global Force Symposium. See upcoming events here.
